You simply cut two toothpicks in half for each potato in order to stick them at the base of the potato as legs. - You can also use them as wood filler when removing nails from a piece of wood. Simply remove the nail, add some glue on one side of the toothpick and place it in the hole where the nail used to be. Then, file down the toothpick with some sandpaper and voila. - In order to control how often you water your plants and prevent you from accidentally killing them, you can use a toothpick to determine whether they need watering or not. You simply place a toothpick in your plant's soil. If the toothpick comes out without any soil stuck on it, it means they don't need watering. If it comes out filled with soil, it means they don't need watering. In order to eliminate plastic, we demonstrate a cool hack on how to re-use plastic and create useful crafts for your everyday life. - You can re-use old straws to make your own anti-slippery sleepers. Simply take some greaseproof paper and place your straws side by side. Then, cover them with another layer of greaseproof paper, turn on your clothing iron and run it through the greaseproof paper in order to melt them. Then take one of your shoes, trace the straws using a marker and cut them to size. After that, stick the top on by using some hot glue, just as we do in the video and voila. Don't forget to add some hot glue at the bottom to prevent them from being slippery. - You can also make your own piggy bank using an old plastic bottle. Simply cut the bottle shorter to the size you want it. Stick the top and bottom part back together and spray paint it pink. After that, cut a square hole in the middle, and add the finishing touches.
